Middle Aged man looking for a new career

Just as the title says there's no easier way of explaining it. I'm a middle aged man who has worked his entire life in the restaraunt industry as a chef and while I've been privileged and grateful to work in alot of neat places all over our province, cooking for some of the most amazing communities, it has always been a up and down ride. As most know the industry has been in turmoil for a while and I've been able to continue to stick through it but I strongly believe after everything that my heart just isn't anymore and I strongly believe I should be focusing my efforts into another industry while I'm still able to and be able to put in another good many years into something else that's a little more fulfilling and financially stable for myself. Id like to think that I have a pretty good head on my shoulders and I'm very easily trainable. The problem always is..how do you get into something else when all you've ever done your whole life is another thing. Unless you know someone with a in or whatever then it's pretty tough and your often swimming upstream against the current. I have a great resume and references but they obviously are to do with my career and my certain skillset. Anyways the reason why I'm posting this is in hopes that maybe there's a chance that someone out there has a opportunity, one that makes sense for both sides of course.
