La Penita de Jaltemba , 63 km North of the Puerto Vallarta airport , is a typical Mexican fishing « pueblo « in the state of Nayarit . It is part of the Jaltemba Bay including popular Rincon de Guayabitos and Los Ayala . Our self contained studio is a short 100 steps walk to the beach and 2 blocks to the Main Avenida , the Zocalo or the Malecon . From the Malecon you can watch the fisherman come in with their catch of the day . We are also steps from an estuary , perfect place for bird watchers . The studio is equipped with all you need to eat at home or you can walk to a wide range of good restaurants . There are plenty of grocery stores , bank , boutiques , sport bar , dentists , doctors , hospitals . The studio is on the roof of our newer 2 stories house built January 2019 . The owners from Brentwood Bay BC live on premises . We offer a queen size bed under a ceiling fan , a sitting area , kitchen and a full bathroom . Air conditioning is available .. Free WI-Fi . You will enjoy a large shared patio overlooking the ocean , the estuary and the mountains .
