I have here a Sound Devices MixPre 6M (M for 'Musician') It does not have all of the features of the MixPre II series but is set up for overdubbing and editing multitrack audio. I bought this new in 2018 when I thought I would do a bunch of recording but I never really had the ideas for it. The preamps are stupendous- super-low noise floor and amazing amounts of gain. with a few hi-pass EQ options for every channel. Great headphone amp. Lots of I/O options It is small.
