Health Care Worker Wanted

We are seeking a compassionate, kind and positive individual as a HealthCare Support Worker for a lovely and intelligent 70-year-old woman who has a degenerative neurological condition. Both the client and her husband are retired professionals and live in a well-appointed home in the Maplewood area of Victoria. We are looking for someone who can be the hands and feet for her, providing essential assistance with activities of daily living in order to ensure that she maintains a high level of comfort and quality of life. Qualifications: RN, LPN or extensive experience as a HealthCare Support Worker is required. Experience with g tube feeding, trach care and suctioning, and catheter are preferable. Compassionate, patient, and respectful way of relating. Good communication skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily activities. First Aid and CPR certification is a plus, but not required. Criminal record check, up to date COVID-19 vaccinations and TB testing required.
