Like new. This model train and track is designed to go around your Christmas tree. It is a four piece train - engine, wood tender, gondola and caboose. I comes with a remote control for forward and backward motion. There are 24 curved and 8 straight pieces of track which allows for 3 different configurations. It is easy to assemble and fits nicely around a Christmas tree or where ever you want. It is battery operated. I have tested the batteries that we used and they are still good.
