Rare 14-ft. ALCAN - SPRINGBOK. A genuine piece of Canadiana, built in Quebec in the 80’s or early 90’s. I bought this little beauty a few months back with the intention of building a sturdy fair-weather salt-chucker and lightweight easy to launch lake boat. It should fair well on your next river moose-hunt, too. Rated for 836 lb payload! The robust build quality of this boat is obvious. Check out the ‘skid-rail' welded full length on the keel! I’ve got it ready for the first test run but a health issue has changed my plans. Sadly I need to let it go. Move quick on this rare Canadian built boat and get in on the huge Pink Salmon run this year! Boat: - Rebuilt transom. - Installed new quick-release padded swivel seats fore & aft. - Added new forward fuel tank, platform and new hose. Also including new aux tank. - Added Cannon downrigger (best of the manual ones) on sturdy platform. - Includes Hummingbird portable depth sounder and quick mount transducer. - Includes two very good oars with oar locks. - Includes 1 good Scotty rod-holder; 2nd. Scotty manual downrigger with new mount plate. Motor; - 2006’ 9.8 hp. Nissan/Tohatsu 4-stroke. (Tohatsu is Japan’s oldest outboard company). Hours unknown but I believe are very low. Prop looks original. Only weighs 84 lbs and it starts 1st or 2nd pull. Some scratches and minor paint peel. I’ve only run it on the trailer. Happy to run it for serious buyers. Engine specs are on the tag in the pic. Look it up, these are great motors! Trailer; - 1985 EZ-Loader galv steel. Bunk style. This trailer is still solid and ready to haul. - HAS PAPERS! - Rewired trailer (7-pin connector) and installed new LED lights. - Has bearing buddy’s, freshly greased. - Installed new spare tire. - Installed new HD all-terrain forward jack post for rough terrain push-launches. First $3900.00 takes it away. I’m in Metchosin near Pedder Bay. Those who include a contact phone number with their inquiry get fastest response. Thanks for reading this. Terry Anderson
