Offered for sale this vintage carved African Elephant Ivory tusk carved by the peoples of the Congo. The tusk is carved in the form of a Crocodile which is a Congolese symbol of power. Measuring 24 inches in length, the carved tusk is in very nice condition and detailed with open jaw showing teeth, the hatch-work carving to create the skin of the crocodile.
