Carved by BERNARD GELEZIUNAS, a Lithuanian Canadian folk artist who lived in Victoria and passed away at the age of 88 on June 21, 2002. I’m listing 2 other pieces as well.  This piece is signed by the artist. It stands approximately 13 1/2 inches tall by 5 inches wide and it is approximately 9 inches deep. The primitive form is reminiscent of the folk art from Nova Scotia.
