We are renting out our 2 bedroom basement suite for July 1 in a family home located in Vic West, 5 min walk to the ocean. Super close to downtown the location is fantastic. -2 bedroom basement suite with separate entrance -1 bedroom is a loft style platform bed -additional room off one of the bedrooms that could be used as an office, storage, art, or playroom (not pictured) -separate area for bike or camping gear storage if needed -own full sized laundry with new Maytag washing machine -freshly painted with new carpet in the bedroom -clawfoot tub in bathroom -total sq ft approx 1000 -street parking -very unique layout It’s a 3 min walk to bus 15 to uvic and the 25 on Esquimalt Road, even closer is the 24 on Wilson Street. Galloping Goose located behind the house. Family with 1 child and 2 dogs live upstairs so house has noise going on during the day but night time is quiet as my partner works most mornings at 4am. It’s an older home built in 1912 so there is sound transference. The house is located in the bottom right corner of the overhead aerial photo to give you an idea of proximity to the ocean. We are a 7 minute walk to the Flying Squirrel and Driftwood Brewery and 10 minutes to Spinnaker’s Pub. It is a basement so the ceilings aren’t super high. Sadly this wouldn’t be suitable for taller individuals but does have close to a 6’ clearance. Asking $2100 including all utilities except for internet.
