For adoption: young bearded buff silkie with a disability. We can't sex it yet, but are guessing pullet based off comb size, but are not 100% sure as it's a silkie. So no guarantees on it being a pullet. Hatched April 13-14. This bird's upper beak isn't growing. We first noticed at around 3 weeks old its upper beak looked odd, and now it seems to just not be growing. It's eats fine and is the same size as all its siblings. We have trimmed its lower beak once to help it eat, but it probably wasn't needed. It has no other issues, just an upper beak not growing it seems. As it could be genetic, it would be to a pet only home. It would do well with other silkies/calm bantams, or other disabled chickens who need a friend.
