Hardwood floor installer/helper

Do you want to learn a new craft? You have some carpentry experience but are ready to hone your skills? Do you love learning new things regularly? Solving problems and have great attention to detail? Flooring requires a large skill set from levelling floors to installation to sand and finishing! We’re looking for someone with some carpentry experience to join the team as a labourer with lots of room to grow! There’s always more to learn, you won’t get bored with us! Job Requirements: Basic carpentry skills Ability to measure and cut a piece of wood Able to lift 50lbs + Able to be on your feet most of the day and up and down off the floor Able to use a variety of saws Drivers licence a plus but not required Able to take directions well Attention to detail required Job description: Installing a variety of flooring including glue down and nail down hardwood, laminate and vinyl plank Loading and unloading materials and equipment often up and down stairs Sanding and refinishing hardwood floors, using a variety of sanders and vacuum systems. Keeping a clean site while working and daily end of day cleans Dump runs, material pick ups, etc
