We are a CPA accounting firm in Victoria, BC and have an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in a regular, part-time position starting ASAP. Hours would be from 10 am – 1 pm (3 hours), Monday through Friday with the possibility of increased hours as the position’s responsibilities increase. There may be some flexibility with when the hours can be worked (our office is open from 9-5, M-F). This position is responsible for but not limited to: - responding to phone messages - booking appointments - organizing/updating online documentation - scanning and organizing documents - managing the office email account - client correspondence - helping to organize staff functions - light bookkeeping/excel work The successful applicant will have MS Office experience and be technologically confident (ie. not scared of technology). It would be great if you had some equivalent experience and/or interest in the accounting/tax industry – but we would be happy to train the right candidate and show you how great this industry is😊. The successful applicant will have excellent organizational and communication skills and take pride in their work.
