Catalina 27, a classic design of a racer/cruiser. The previous owner refurbished the boat primarily for class racing, but we have also comfortably used it for cruising. “Quidam" is fully functional and is ready now for day-sailing or weekend cruising. – Accommodates up to 4 people, but still easily sailed single-handed - Moored at Oak Bay Marina (moorage may be assumable) - Dinette layout, with alcohol stove and Ice box - Electric sink tap with 60 L water tank - Table converts to a small double berth. Also, forward V-berth and 2 single quarter-berths. - Raytheon sounder/speed log - VHF radio, plus West Marine hand-held VHF - Solar-powered cabin vent fan (replaced 2020) - Marine head (replaced in 2012), with holding tank (or overboard discharge where legal to use) - Inboard engine, original Universal Atomic 4 gasoline, 30 hp, raw water cooled. Continues to run well. - Engine exhaust system recently replaced - Engine starter rebuilt 2022 - 12V starter battery (2018) and 12V house battery (2025) - Shore power connection and cable - Roller furler (2015) - 135% furling Genoa (new 2022), Main sail, single reef (new 2022), and Spinnaker (New 2012, I have never used. Rigging for spinnaker and pole will require renewing) - Auto-helm, Raytheon - Anchor locker with Danforth anchor, 30 ft of anchor chain (new 2025) and 225 ft of 1/2” anchor line - Shore tie-off line, 3/8” x 500’ (?), on reel - Dodger and sail cover, serviceable condition - Propane bbq, free standing - Recently hauled for hull cleaning and survey - 8 ft. Aquamaster inflatable dingy (2018), with 5 hp Nissan outboard (1998) (new water pump 2025). Although I’m still enjoying my day-sailing, it’s time for me to move on to other activities, so all tools, spare parts, charts, cruising guides, and supporting paraphernalia are included.
