VERY useful for ladder work - this steel holster hooks onto a standard 2.0" - 2.5" web belt (not included), and securely holds a full 4L can of paint and/or a 1L can in the smaller hoop. I've used it on many paint jobs, and *never* lost a can, nor suffered any mishap - it really works great, keeping your paint handy at all times Folds up flat when not in use, is powder-coated in peacock blue, and easy to clean (see pics).
