$750 · 1983 Squier JV Series Stratocaster

This is one of the excellent early Japanese built Squiers which are essentially '62 reissues. This one has been owned by two prominent local players and has been upgraded with Texas made Van Zandt pickups (Blues models). This is the same company that wound pickups for Stevie Ray Vaughn. It has also been re-fretted with medium Jumbo frets and comes with a Canadian-made hardshell case. The body has some nicks and dings. Neck feels great and has a nice dark rosewood fretboard. Pickups sound fantastic.
