The Lowe Alpine Scirocco is the legendary load-carrier/back-pack, well-known in the outdoor industry for its bomb-proof quality and durability. Very comfortable for long-haul, it is particularly suited for hikers with smaller frame/shorter torsos. (The pack being narrower gives the hiker more balance and added cushion in the small of the back.) The body-shaped harness, internal aluminum frame & sternum strap provide extra support, as do the curved, foam-padded curved shoulder straps and the ergonomic load-carrying hip belt. Fit can be fully personalized and quickly and easily adjusted for optimal weight distribution on shoulders and hips, allowing for balancing loads low and against the spine. Very roomy (~70L) traditional bucket interior with 2 compartments and zip-out divider (perfect for interior sleeping bag storage) BUT excellent compression allows to shrink it effectively thanks to multiple compression straps.
