This former mobile research platform was used for a project in partnership with the University of Victoria. 32ft x 32ft floating platform, perfect as a base for a float home, RV, camper, motor home etc. Built for a research project in 2022 with brand new materials ($10k large 16x4x2 floats from Envirofloat with bows, $12k treated lumber 6x6, aluminium brackets, stainless fastners etc.) It has a trimaran structure, with three floats each 16ft long, engineered for fast transport. Each float can lift around 6,500 lbs. The total structure can lift over 15,000 lbs. Designed to be modular and quick to assemble/disassemble, it can fit into a 24-foot U-Haul truck and be delivered anywhere a truck can go. Can be delivered assembled anywhere in Victoria/Gulf Islands/lower mainland. It can be used as a large floating dock if decking is added.
