$920 · Looking for a summer roomate in Victoria (June 1st-Aug 31st)

Hi, are you looking for a room near UVic for the summer? I’m looking for a roommate (or a couple) in a two-bedroom apartment, ideally from June 1st to August 31st, rent is 920$/month. The room is spacious, quiet, and has a nice window and closet storage. It comes unfurnished, but I can provide a mattress and bedframe on request. We share the kitchen (which has no dishwasher), the balcony, the living room and the bathroom. The shared space is furnished with a sofa and a TV. The bathroom has a bathtub. The apartment is on the second floor, but there is no elevator. A parking spot is available for $40/month. Rent includes Hydro and internet. The apartment is located above Shelbourne Plaza (Shelbourne & Cedar Hill X Rd), close to supermarkets, coffee shops, bakeries, and the popular Fig deli. If you are looking for cheap furniture (or just into thrifting), the Salvation Army is next door. The bus to downtown takes 15–20 minutes. UVic is a short bus ride away or about a 25-minute walk through Horner Park. Lots of bike lanes nearby. Also nearby: Mount Tolmie (15-minute uphill walk) and Mount Douglas. People say I’m fruity, but really, I’m just French (unfortunately). I fell in love with the island for its beautiful landscapes, which got me into hiking and biking. I’m also into music, books, and movies. I’ll be in and out for most of the summer, so I’m open to a roommate who wants to hang out occasionally—or not at all.
