This is a second-floor, 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment in the center of Langford. Many bus routes, including the main line, are accessible. Westshore Mall is about a 25-minute walk, and Goldstream Ave is about 10 minutes. Property management offers a parking spot for a monthly fee. This is a non-smoking building. There is an area outside where folks tend to gather and talk. The unit is about 950 square feet and pet-friendly (cat/dog) with in-suite laundry. Internet and hydro are included in the room price. The building has bike storage, a fitness room and elevators. It can be a semi-furnished room. My friend is moving out, so there are some items they are willing to part with. Ideally, it would be someone or a couple who is also part of the LGBT+ community, able to communicate well, mindful of apartment living (re: sound), and can tidy up after themselves. About the roommate: My name is Alex, and I use he/him or they/them pronouns. I’m pretty introverted and keep to myself, but I am open to hanging out on occasion or going out and having fun. I like playing games with my friends (usually online or I go out to them), painting, reading and listening to podcasts. I work nearby four days a week, but I occasionally take on contract work, for which I then work from home for half a day. If that comes up, I will make sure to communicate it.
