I'm a super respectful & responsible guy in my very late 30s who's looking for temporary or medium-term accommodation in the Greater Victoria area. I'm pursuing studies in horticulture at UVic in an effort to help save endangered pollinators & I actively volunteer at Government House. You'd never know it to look or talk to me, but I'm a brain injury survivor & have been living in a brain injury rehabilitation program that has now ended. I'm at the top of the BC Housing list with the highest number of priorities attached to my file & need a temporary place to stay until a permanent home within BC Housing becomes available. I have no criminal record & am extremely trustworthy. Before my injury, I was a bonded bank employee trusted with vault access & handling hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash on a daily basis. My favourite part of the job was helping people. I don't smoke, very rarely drink, & don't use drugs. I'm friendly without being nosy & get along well with mostly everyone. The only complaint I've ever had from a roommate was that I "cleaned too much," which is the best sort of complaint to have. (I generally clean house once or twice per week.) I'm excellent with pets, great with children, & enjoy spending time with seniors. I'm willing to pay rent, but if you're looking for a live-in gardener or housekeeper in exchange for accommodation, then that would be even better. If I sound like the ideal lodger/housemate that you're looking for, then I hope we find each other. Thanks for reading my posting. I look forward to hearing from you.
