An unfurnished one-bedroom basement suite situated on a quiet private road will be available starting November 1st. The suite has a private entrance and is equipped with its own washer and dryer. Water utilities are included in the rent, while hydro is split 40/60. Internet is not included, but we are happy to share our WiFi at no additional cost. This suite would be ideal for a quiet professional or mature student. The house is just a 5-minute drive to UVIC and has direct bus access to downtown. The following bus routes are accessible from our address: #27 and #27 Express (1-minute walk) and #28 and #28 Express (5-minute walk). Available street parking can accommodate a single compact vehicle. Unfortunately, larger vehicles such as trucks or SUVs would not be suitable for our parking arrangement. Our household includes two daughters, ages 19 months and 9 years. Although the suite is soundproofed, noise can still travel, and the presence of children might not be ideal for those who require complete silence for sleep or work. We also have a 12-year-old husky who enjoys being the only pet on the property. Currently, no additional pets are allowed. Smoking, vaping, or the use of any drugs is also prohibited on the property.
