I'm hoping we can find someone who wants to save her, as time is running out and I really don't want to see her headed to the wreckers. 😥 The M.V. Eagle, built in 1966, worked for Victoria Plywood on the Selkirk Waterway along with her sister, M.V. Hawk in 60's - 80's. My dad bought her in the early '90's as a retirement project, but it was never completed. This wood hull boat is solid and dry, rebuilt from bare hull starting in 1986, and had her wheelhouse raised up to create a large open cabin through most of the boat. All is awaiting your layout and decorating ideas. Large collection of photos to show the work that was done, as well as records of the work completed along the way. All in, about $100,000 was invested between 1986 and 1988. She has a Volvo Penta TMD40A engine. She also comes with: - VHF Radio - Depth Sounder - Radar - Anchor Winch - 12' pram in need of completion She's been out of the water and will need a good soak before her shaft is laid. Jenkins Marine knows the boat and can transport her and crib her where needed. Hoping to have her moved by the end of January. She's got many more years left in her, after the rebuild, and so many adventures yet to be had for someone willing to invest the time and money into building their dream boat!
