Come fall, as we’re inside more often, it’s a good time to tap into our creative side. Maybe we want something nice for ourselves or our home, or to lend a personal touch to holiday gift-giving.
No matter your motivation, Victoria’s Starlite Soap Studio makes learning fun – and rewarding!
Starlite offers a variety of hands-on workshops, including soap, soy candles, bath bombs, and more.
No experience is necessary and all supplies and equipment are provided – just bring your enthusiasm! At the end of the two-hour class, you’ll leave with some amazing products, and all the know-how needed to replicate your project at home.
The cold-process soap workshops are especially popular right now, says Alain St.Onge, Starlite’s co-owner. “Participants choose from 45 essential or fragrance oils and an array of different colours to build a truly personalized product, and at the end, you’ll leave with a three-pound block of soap – enough for eight to twelve bars.”
As we welcome a little light into our darker days, the soy candle workshop is another popular choice. Participants make three candle pairs with a great choice of colours and scents.
All workshops are $69 per person and are currently limited to four participants to ensure proper distancing. Private workshops are also available for family and friend groups.
Participants enjoy well-organized, easy-to-follow instructions in a relaxed, fun setting. “We want everyone to have really great experience and take home new products and skills,” Alain says.
