Fully checked over with receipts from bike shop. NEW: front tire and tube, rear shift cable, freewheel, sprocket. ADJUSTED: shifting, front and rear brakes, gears, headset, hubs, bolts. CHECKED: brake pads/rim surface, bolts, spokes/rims, hubs, BB, headset cleaned, lubed chain, trued and tensioned wheels. Bike shop says “ALL IS GOOD” (in writing, July 2023) and it’s a 1x drivetrain, 6 speed, fewer problems with all the gears you need and none of the ones you don’t. Spent $218 to make perfectly safe and like new for my granddaughter.
