I did a “heat retention” test putting boiling water (200F) water in it, After 5 hours 183F After 11 hrs 164F According to the web “the preferred drinking temperature of coffee” is specified in the literature as 120-140F. So even after 11 hours it is still hotter than the recommended drinking temperature. Stays hot longer than you need it to likely! Cold liquids would stay colder for a much longer period .
