Ocular Hygenist

Please only apply if you have 2-3 years of experience in the Optical industry along with experience using dry eye equipment including IPL, ILUX and RF · Patient interaction and administrative duties o Greeting and checking in patients o Scheduling appointments o Handling patient records and referrals o Managing billing insurance and payments o Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries · Pre-examination Testing o Conducting preliminary eye tests (e.g. visual field test, taking image of retina, OCT scans) o Assisting with autorefractors and other diagnostic tools · As an Ocular Hygienist o One-on-one with patient for dry eye assessment and treatments o Conducting ZEST treatment, ILUX, IPL and Radio Frequency treatment o Preparing dry eye room and ensuring equipment is sanitized o Organizing instruments and supplies o Explaining procedures to patients o Discuss patients’ treatment options with their optometrists.
