Men's Custodial - The Butchart Gardens

The Butchart Gardens is looking for an individual to fill a position in MEN’S CUSTODIAL. Day and evening custodial crews maintain washroom and building cleanliness including vacuuming, mopping, washing, and garbage/recycling pickup. The successful candidate will be required to: • maintain and clean restrooms, visitor and staff areas in various buildings and restaurants • remove garbage and recycling • vacuum, mop, and wash floors • respond to visitor inquiries by providing information about The Gardens • assist with other jobs as required from time to time The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and demonstrated attributes: • This position is ideal for a self-directed individual with an outgoing attitude • An excellent demonstrated understanding of how to provide exceptional visitor service • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. • Good overall physical condition. • A valid driver’s license This is a seasonal position starting in September and continuing until January 6th, 2025 offering 32-40 hours/week including both shift and weekend work plus occasional overtime.
