$25 · Stone Mortar and Pestle

MEET UP MORNINGS NEAR FORT AND COOK, selling lots of good items, some free with purchase, click on my photo for listings. Very good condition, this was purchased in Europe from an artisan. It is heavy stone, very unique, the painting design on the mortar would’ve been hand-done. A true one of a kind! It is heavy, the 2 pieces together are 4.25 pounds. The artisan marked it 4” which is the height. The diameter is 4.5” and the actual grinding part is 3” diameter. The pestle is 5” long and weighs about 1 pound. There is a flaw at the edge of the stone mortar as shown, it would’ve been that way when the stone was cut, I have added rubber “feet” on the bottom so it can’t scratch a surface and doesn’t slide.
