Hello, I have a passion for working with the elderly population. A little about myself.... *Well educated *Over 20 years of experience working with all age groups ranging in needs (trauma, autism, degenerative brain diseases, physical and mental health challenges, addiction). *Recently ended working with an amazing elderly individual living with advanced dimentia. *Now looking for part or full time companionship work with the elderly. *Provide safe, compassionate, strength focused, client centred care. *I am a big fan of focusing on individual abilities, humour, kindness, and the preservation of dignity of the individual. *Im all about the relationship! *Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication dispensary, and personal hygiene. *I own a car and happy to get out and be active, or simply provide transportation. I live in West Shore area, but open to working anywhere from Sooke to Victoria City.
