In search of a barn worker for a private and peaceful 13 horse barn in Saanich off the Pat Bay Highway near Elk Lake. Organized barn with happy horses and friendly boarders. Must be a good communicator and a team player. Horse experience necessary for feeding shifts, but not necessary for stall picking - however must be comfortable with horses and learning about their needs and noticing when something doesn't seem right. $20 an hour for all shifts Available shifts include: *Stalls and paddocks shift - Sat/Sun (anytime of the day but prefer before 6pm) (12 stalls with attached paddocks) - approximately 1.5 hrs Saturday paddocks and 3 hrs paddocks on Sunday 2 pm feed shift - Sat and Sun (start between 1:30 and 2:45pm) - approximately 1.5 hrs per feed/day -Must be detail orientated and ideally have horse experience for this task These two shifts can be combined for a larger chunk of hours per day (2pm feed and paddocks/stalls combined ) If interested in joining the team and enjoying a serene and park like setting please send me a message with your experience.
