$30 · $30 · OUR Ecovillage CSA: Weekly Box of Farm Produce and So Much More!

As the weather gets better and better and the seedlings are coming up strong, OUR Ecovillage's Healthy Lifestyle Box Program is now open for 2021 registration! The OUR CSA is a 20-week program starting in June. Each week you'll receive produce, protein, recipes + other goodies (these might include educational activities for you and your family, potted herb plants, baking, etc). Learn about "Food, Farming, and Medicine Making" during the 2021 edition of OUR Ecovillage's CSA. Expect the same abundance of fresh, in-season produce, eggs, meat and meat-alternatives, baking, and other goodies we've offered in past seasons along with an expanded commitment to education and, of course, community. We also have an online group via Mighty Networks where you can connect with other members and share recipes and ideas and are putting together an online TV show focusing on the amazing food community here on the island--CSA members will get priority access to episodes. You'll receive a valuable Introduction to Permaculture course through our newsletters and additional learning materials, all at no extra cost to the box. Full (4-5 people; $47.50/week) and half (1-3 people, $30/week) shares are available and you can pay in two instalments. Ecovillage is a 25 acre "Regenerative Living Demonstration Site and Education Centre," host to multiple non-profits and community-based organizations. OUR is home to collaborative projects with government, academia, corporate sponsors and grassroots programming, and focuses on permaculture, sustainability, and natural building. Due to COVID, OUR is pivoting from on-the-land learning to other modes of building community and sharing knowledge. An expansion of the already-successful CSA project is one such project.
