Full Time Laborer Wanted

Townline Construction is a developer/builder specializing in high rises construction. We provide turn-key project management and design-build services on a fee for service basis. Currently we are in need of experienced and dedicated General Laborers & Skilled Laborers to join the Victoria team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for experience in the rewarding field of high rise building with one of BC's most respected and proven developers. We have many projects coming up and years of work to come. General Duties & Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: • light and heavy duties, shoveling, carrying materials, caulking • cleaning, organizing materials, pressure washing, light carpenter helper duties • assist other trades with materials when required • Willing to work overtime hours to make deadlines • Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed by supervisors Skills and Requirements: • Knowledge and experience working in high rise construction is an asset but not required • Knowledge of various tools and equipment as well as materials and methods of construction is an asset • Ability to problem solve, prioritize tasks and work independently • A high commitment to personal safety and the safety of others • Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including laborers, technical, professional, and upper management • Commitment to working in a team environment, with established team building abilities; • Strong communication, leadership, integration, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; • Must have own steel toe boots • Must be comfortable working outside in all types of weather conditions • We are willing to provide training to the right candidate • Wages are ultimately determined by skill level, competitive wages and benefit packages available for hourly workers
