Job description: Gray & Co. is a growing Victoria based residential and commercial (we just completed Saxe Point Public House and previously Bray's Wine Bar) construction company looking for labourers, carpenters, and/or apprentices. We do various types of construction work, mainly indoors; renos, finishing, woodworking, and more so there is opportunity to expand skill sets and not do the same task every day. Pay is very competitive, based on experience with bonuses available. We are looking for good, hard working people who show up, are trustworthy, and have a positive, team attitude. Duties: - Perform labour &/or carpentry tasks on residential, and sometimes commercial , construction sites. - Assist with loading and unloading materials. - Operate hand and power tools. - Clean up and prepare job sites; follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications: - Show up on time and ready to work, clean and organized. - Prior experience in construction or related field preferred but open to the right candidate. - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. - Knowledge of basic hand and power tools with an eye for detail. - Willingness to learn, adapt, and take direction from supervisors. - Trustworthy. - CSA work boots, we can provide a hard hat and vest if needed. Competitive rates from $20-$26 (labourer) and $26-$35+ per hour for carpenters depending on experience. Training and help with apprenticeship for the right candidates.
