We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting and Office Administrator, looking to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our client is located just outside of downtown Victoria, on main transit routes, and is in the GIS and environmental information industry. The role is temporary position but could lead to a permanent, with regular hours from Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. ADVANTAGES - Monday to Friday - Weekly pay - $25-28 per hour - Temporary position to start - Central location - Friendly team RESPONSIBILITIES In this role you will be responsible for: - Provide administrative duties, including but not limited to being first contact via phone, email and in person, facilities management (office supplies, kitchen management, vehicle upkeep and the like) and other typical administrative tasks. - General Bookkeeping duties including but not limited to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. - Providing support to the Controller and CEO as required, including but not limited to ensuring time entry is complete weekly, data entry, account reconciliations, preparing staff expenses report, petty cash and filing; - Arrange events such as Lunch and Learn, office functions, holiday parties and the like; Contacting individuals responsible for the reports if not uploaded.
