I used this DSP to set up my proof of concept 1 kW active, mostly vintage system. It can do both car and home audio natively. I had no issues, no noise, it was very stable, the auto power on only for RCA can be a pain, and their support is no help, so it takes some time to figure out how to use it ideally (I used its master volume as my PC master, controlled volume at final line outs). I have upgraded to a Helix DSP.3, 5 times the cost, definitely better than the Dayton, but the Dayton worked and worked well, it was a big improvement over the passive set up easily! Set up your own multiple speaker system, way more tuning power than some surround sound AVR. I am happy to help you with set up. I can help you go bit perfect too.
