$4,195 · 2008 Ford Escape - 2nd gear band needed

2008 Ford Escape, CD4E AWD, V6, 156668kms. Open to offers. The bad news first, it is stuck in 1st gear due to a broken 2nd gear band. Likely a factory defect as there are very few kilometres on the engine. The part is cheap; however the labour is not. So if you’re mechanically inclined this will be an easy fix and you’ll have a great vehicle for many more years. The good news: Leather seats, heated front seats, sunroof, auto locks and windows, CD player, AC working well, two keys, tires in great shape. Bought this in Jan of 2021 from a local dealer with 129000kms on it. He had just done the ignition housing, I have that receipt. I have the car fax report from that time as well, no accidents or break-ins since.
