Offered for sale this vintage hand thrown, and hand glazed studio art pottery vase by North Carolina artist and potter Jim Sockwell. The vase is in very nice condition and clearly signed with Sockwell’s incised signature. Tastefully decorated and glazed, this beautiful pottery vase stands approximately 6 inches tall and has a width of approximately 4 inches. Sockwell was born in 1943 and made functional stoneware pottery that was fired in a reduction atmosphere. This vintage mid century vase would make a perfect addition to any collection.
