Unique 1958 post office box which, I believe, is made from solid oak (it’s heavy!) with brass doors and glass numbers. A one-of-a-kind statement piece with so much history! It features 54 individual cubbies. Several of the cubbies still have people and business names on the back. Post office boxes are in three sizes, and as you can see in the photos, three doors are missing (which can be purchased from places like eBay). Combinations and keys are not available, but the doors can be opened from behind the unit. Top of unit is stamped with, “Corbin Wood Products Div., Hornell, N.Y. 1958 Property of The Post Office Department” Overall unit size is roughly 34.5”x14”x49.75” - see photos for exact measurements. I’m located in south Shawnigan Lake, about 20 minutes from Langford. Pick-up only.
