It is big, it holds 8 measuring cups of water. It weighs 2.5 lbs empty and filled would be 6.5 pounds it’s heavy! “Teacups” are considered as 6 ounces volume so it is a 10 “teacup” pot. It does not drip and dries flat upside down. The lid doesn’t fit on when the stainless steel infuser is in it so I’ve included a new coaster of Australian Aboriginal art that is coated on one side and cork on the other to cover it while steeping. When the steeping is done remove it and put the teapot lid on. The cozy was never used, made by “Lady Rosedale” see their website below. Proudly MADE IN CANADA! It is 2 pieces, the insulating thermal thick liner is separate so it’s easily washed if necessary without having to wash the outer fabric which is 100% linen, lovely machine embroidery as shown. It’s a pale lime green colour and has a loop at the top for easy removing from the teapot. The inside of the insulating liner measures 12” wide by 10” high and fits well on the teapot.
