1989 Accord in amazing condition for its age. I bought this car 3.5 years ago from a neighbour who had owned it for 20 years and drove it about once a week for errands. She only sold it because she inherited a newer Honda. When I bought it, I replaced all brakes, tires, front control arms and bushings. I have only put on 5,600 kilometres since then, so brakes and tires are in almost new condition. In 2023 I replaced the thermostat, coolant and radiator fan switch. I bought it for a second car, but we only needed it once or twice a week. Now I need a hatchback or small SUV to haul building materials and stuff. The car has been extremely reliable. The only issue that needs to be addressed, is that when engine is hot, it sometimes is hard to start (until it cools down a bit). May have something to do with fuel filter. When it happens, I have to start it and keep the revs up for a minute, then it's fine. Always starts perfectly when it is cold (even when it's minus 10).
