Made for only a few years in the mid-1980’s this US built HAMER TLE T-style set neck is a banger. Ultra-slender 24 fret neck with a 12” radius, traditional HAMER 3-piece quarter-sawn maple neck with rosewood fretboard. 24.75” scale a-la-Gibson. Frets are in excellent condition. Truss rod fully functional. Original nut. One piece Honduras mahogany body capped with lovely flame-top maple cap finished with a gentle cherry-burst and features a comfy rear tummy-curve. Original HAMER-branded Schaller tuning pegs. Loaded with after-market US-made TV Jones, Super-Tron in bridge, 2 x Starwood Strat T-Armond voiced singles with sassy after-market faux-chrome pickup covers. Controls are: Volume (original HAMER CTS pot), tone (non-original CTS pot) and non-original 5-way blade pickup selector, original HAMER Switchcraft input barrel jack, non-original chrome knobs. Dunlop Strap-Lock strap pins. Original HAMER high-mass tail-piece. Aluminum rear control plate is original and another example of how well-designed and engineered HAMER’S are. D’Addario 9.5 -44’s, set-up to lowest recommended factory spec. Essentially this guitar is an SG with a T-style body married to a Gretsch solidbody. HAMER has a well-deserved reputation for exemplary build quality which is very apparent on this guitar. The guitar is in very good condition with a couple of cosmetic dings as shown in pictures.
