Cozy one bedroom suite for rent May 1st in the Quadra/Hillside neighbourhood. Rent includes utilities (water, heat) and laundry (shared). The suite is 605 sq ft and quite bright! Ceilings are ~7 ft, but lower in some spots (beams, doorways), so it's probably most comfortable for someone 6ft tall or less. Couples welcome. The suite is centrally located on a quiet residential street: walking distance to grocery stores, parks, cafes, restaurants, and shopping; close to Galloping Goose trail; one block from bus routes 6 and 8. Ample street parking. The upstairs suite is filled by the homeowners. We're a family of three (<1 yr old) who love gardening, music, cooking, biking. It is an older house so there is some sound transfer between the suites; this means being comfortable with sharing some sounds of daily living and being able to respect rough quiet hours (~9pm - 7am). Possibility for garden space, covered outdoor bike storage.
