Ritchey P-22 Team handbuilt in 1992. Full team specification. Only changes over the years have been bottom bracket, headset, grips and tires. Everything is in really good working condition. Has not been touched for about 2 years and probably not 12 before that. Ritchey Prestige Tubing - 100% fillet brazed frame and fork by Tom Ritchey 18in center to top SN - 18P46 (18in, P Series, 46th made) Shimano Deore XT 7 speed transmission Ritchey 48, 38, 28 crankset Speedmax tires are in excellent condition New cables Ritchey Logic Brakes and Levers Ritchey Force stem and Prolite handlebar Wheelsmith built wheels 32r, 28fr Ritchey rims on Shimano hubs with 12-28 cassette Shimano XT pedals (toeclips and straps included) I am selling this bike as I have too many old Ritcheys for one thing. Secondly I had this one repainted locally by a motorcycle/airbrush guy who did a not great job. All my previous refinishes have been done by Chris Dekerf in Vancouver who sets a pretty high bar so I guess I’m spoiled. This paint work is what I’d call serviceable and took the wind out of my sails on finishing the bike Thus the price. Decals are under the clear. If you’re happy with it great, if not I will include a set of the same team decals if you want to get it redone or even powder coated nowadays. PLEASE NOTE!! This is a 40+ year old super lightweight racing bike. It was built to go fast and win races and not years and years of overly rough trails or fast rocky downhills. If you are looking for a bike to thrash this is likely not it. I don’t ride mountain bikes anymore as I too am not built for rough trails and rocky downhills. Bike is in Mill Bay, BC, Vancouver Island
