Job Summary The Renaissance is a boutique retirement residence that provides independent living, meals, and weekly housekeeping for independent seniors. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain cleanliness and organization in a retirement residence setting, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents. This role requires strong time management skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of resident suites and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and neatly presented. Organize and tidy living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms to maintain a clean and orderly home. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences. Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated schedules. Uphold high standards of hospitality through attention to detail in all cleaning tasks. Experience Previous experience is great but not required. A kind personality and a willingness to learn is much more important Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in English is required A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to foster positive resident relationships. $19.00 to $21.00 per hour 18-23 hours per week Staff meal included!
