This is a brand new lacquered birch queen size Murphy Bed, made here in B.C. by Murphy Bed Pros. We offer different sizes, styles, and finishes all using the same 3/4 inch thick solid plywood base - never any particleboard, along with high quality European hardware mechanisms that have withstood the test of time. When we build our beds, we want happy customers who benefit from many years of excellent service from our beds. Our success in this effort is proven by the very significant amount of business we receive from recommendations. The price listed here is for a complete cabinet ready for a mattress - this could be a mattress you already have, or any mattress not more than 12 inches thick that can stand on its end (almost all can). We do recommend a standard inner spring mattress, but foam can work as well, though we may need to add slats for you in that case.
