Hey there! I’m looking for a wonderful roommate to share my 3BD, 2BT home with in Park’s Edge, Royal Bay :) It’s a newly built house and you would get the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet, while I would use the other bedroom and office room. I’ll have furniture, cookware, dishware, etc. to share, but we’ll have plenty of room for you to bring your own too. There is also a garage’s worth of storage for us to share. Also, the house has all new appliances! You’ll need your own bedroom furniture—most everything else like laundry AND utilities included. My partner and I have only recently purchased this home, so we’re new to the area but I’m extremely excited to explore the beachside and all the walking trails nearby! Ideally, I’m looking to share this home with another quiet, working professional or student. My partner will be moving into the home with me in January 2025 so the rental period will be from July 15/August 1, 2024 to early 2025. Exact end date TBD, but I’d give you ample notice. ABOUT ME I’m a quiet, nature-loving woman in her 30s who enjoys reading, drinking coffee with far too much cream, and pottery of all kinds. I work for the government full-time so that keeps me busy during the weekdays (WFM 2 days a week) and on weekends I’m usually visiting Salt Spring or getting lost in the woods. I consider myself a bit of an introvert at heart but I also love connecting with people and having deep conversations when the connection is there. I play a variety of sports at a very mediocre level, and do my best to go walking or running whenever my laziness permits. I don’t smoke and my alcohol consumption is limited to a nice—okay, fine…cheap—red wine here and there. This is a very unique opportunity as you’ll be the first to live in this beautiful new home! Oh, did I mention the heat pump in the master?? Your room also looks out onto the sunny backyard and forest behind. There is lots of space in the house for us to do our own thing or to have spontaneous hangs when we feel like it.
