$40 · TUTOR : Finance and Chemistry

Hello, I have graduated from UVic with a PhD in Chemistry and I am looking to tutor anyone interested. I have been successfully tutoring students for over 10 years now, including, working in the learning commons at UVic. All of my students have gone on to succeed in their respective courses and generally achieve very high grades. My current strengths and experiences tutoring have been for: Chemistry: Any course level up to second year university (High School Chemistry, Chem 070, Chem 090, Chem 100, Chem 101, Chem 102, Chem 110, Chem 120, Chem 121, Chem 150, Chem 175, Chem 180 ...) Finance: 1st and 2nd year level (e.g. FIN 110, COM 240, COM 371) My Biggest goals while tutoring: -assuring student has a very strong understanding of concepts and calculations so they can successfully understand and complete any question/problem they are faced in their course assignments/exams - The student is very comfortable with me and has an optimal learning experience -Besides offering insight and help to understanding the concepts of the material they are struggling with, my students also gain the tools and new perspectives necessary to succeed in any other future courses I am very enthusiastic person and enjoy the rewarding experience of helping students overcome weaknesses and acquire the suitable perspective and understanding needed to succeed in their particular course, as well as giving them the strength and tools to succeed in future endeavors.
