Too many basses in the bass barn and it's time to sell off this out of production, Canadian made, mod-garage rock inspired bruiser. When you could buy them back in 2019 (they're no longer in production), they were $1,200 plus tax (and shipping), but I'm willing to let it go for $850 OBO (no low ballers). The thumping Dorchester 4 is a retro throwback. This short-scale, semi-hollow bass has a ton of tonal character and nice harmonic overtones, thanks to the way the chambered body resonates. It comes loaded with powerful Godin Passive Kingpin Dog-ear Alnico Bass pickups, controlled by 1 x volume, 1 x tone, and a 3-way selector switch.
