Smokehouse Production Clerk

Work with us! We are looking for a Smokehouse Production Worker to join our team. This smokehouse position is an integral part of a team that is responsible for making Red Barn’s Own Smokehouse products. We are looking for a candidate that will be accountable for product integrity, safety and cleanliness of the department. We will train you in all stages of our smokehouse facility from receiving products, cutting, trimming and mixing to smoking our famous bacon. Be part of the team that produces our legendary locally smoked products for our 7 Red Barn Market stores and various restaurants around the city. Duties & Responsibilities: • Duties also include cleaning and operating machinery. • Preparing and processing meat products • Create a unique and varied array of high quality smoked products for sale • Operating Smokehouse equipment, perform regular equipment checks for safety • Ensuring that all products are processed according to quality standards • Maintaining a clean and safe environment Here’s what we need from you: • Thursday-Monday availability (9-5, or 10-6) • Great Attitude and work ethic • Ability to work in a cold environment • Ability to work alone as well as with a team • Able to lift up to 50lbs, heavy lifting required • Reliability and respect for fellow employees Here’s what’s in it for you: • Benefits Package • Staff discount of 15 % on purchases • Ability to participate in our one-time New Homeowner Grant • Ability to participate in our High School or Post Secondary Scholarship Programs • Work with an amazing team!
