Private partially furnished room for rent in a spacious apartment and great location with lots of natural light. Location is close to Oak Bay. I am looking for an occupant for a private room in my apartment with a shared common space including the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The room will include a dresser and side table but the bed will not be included. Rent is $900 a month plus utilities including Wifi and Hydro. Agreement will be 3 months with the option to renew. About me: I am a young independent working professional who works from home. I am more of a homebody and don't go out much. I love art and making things in general. I would like to eventually host small craft nights (with consideration of the person who moves in) so it would be a plus to find a roommate who is also interested in the arts. I love horror movies and really enjoy gothic and retro styles. I am pansexual and go by She/they pronouns so It is important to me that the roommate I find respects the LGBTQ community. I really value communication and want you to as well. I want us both to feel comfortable and safe in our space I am looking for a respectful and responsible, female identifying roommate who works or studies outside of the house during the week. I think this would be best for both of us since I work from home Monday-Friday and would need a fairly quiet environment. I am looking for someone who is capable of sharing a part in the chores for common spaces. I have recently been focusing on home improvements. I plan to put some peel-and-stick tiles in the kitchen and bathroom and maybe some renter friendly wall paper in the kitchen. I am holding off on these until I find a roommate so I can include their opinion in my decision making process. I want you to love your space too! I have a cat who is quite shy but very sweet. Its important that whoever moves in likes and treats animals well. Kitchen that is fully stocked with all the utensils, and other kitchen tools one would need. I have an air fryer, blender, microwave, pop corn machine, food processor and more that you are welcome to use. Cat friendly - A cat is possible upon discussion. As stated above I have one shy male cat. If another cat is brought in, your cat would need to be okay with other cats. Walking distance to Jubilee Hospital, Oak Baty recentre, Save on Foods, Starbucks and other cafes, banks, parks with tennis courts, and close to cute shops along the same road and Oak Bay ave.
